The Unisys Security Index is a measure of the current threat landscape in the world. This year, overall consumer security concerns are at their highest since the inception of the Index back in 2017.
The key findings of the latest Unisys Security Index include the following:
- 69% of respondents saw identity theft as a looming threat, ranking it ahead of physical risks like natural disasters, war and terrorism.
- 66% of respondents were seriously concerned about bank card fraud, with 57% reporting fears of hacking and malware when conducting e-commerce transactions.
- 57% of respondents feared that their private data being accessed via public Wi-Fi networks at public events.
